The modern house design came from the want to design a house that was simple, bright, with lots of space.
The house has two garages one on either side of the house. One main bedroom takes up the top floor with an unsuite shower room on one wing above the lefthand garage and a walk in wardrobe/dressing room over the right hand garage.
Large glass windows let in light - using special green glass would ensure summer heat is reflected away and in the winter the heat will be kept inside.
The roof is at the right angle to catch the sun most of the day so solar panels could be fitted to create both heat and power.
Under the balcony on the ground floor two large sliding glass doors open out from the kitchen and living area onto bamboo decking and polished concreate dining area.
The bed and staircase become one. A king size bed is fitted above the staircase, with polished concreate bedside tables. Two large gas fires are fitted both upstairs and downstairs on the one large oversated chimney stack.

With the wall off we can see the large open plan kitchen on the right of the house and the living area on the left. The glass sliding doors at the rear of the house let in light and give great views of the garden.
