Pink Saturday Pinterest and Me

Greetings Pinkettes! Lovely to see you! How are you? Me? Well, I'm late for my post again *sigh*. Hope you don't mind.

A huge thanks to Beverly How Sweet the Sound, our fabulous host, who keeps this pinkalicious party going for us! If you haven't already, do stop by Beverly's blog and say hello.

Today I'm taking down two (pink) birds with one stone....Pink Saturday and Pinterest. I know many of you use Pinterest. There was much concern about Pinterest's policies and several have either deleted their accounts or many of their pins. I'm thrilled to say that Pinterest has seen the error of it's ways and has changed their policy. What a relief! I was on the verge of closing my account. It's still a good idea to watermark your personal photos.

One of the many reasons why I am addicted enjoy Pinterest is to be able to create my boards and fill them with such goodies as...

Things I want...

eye candy and ideas/inspiration...

sharing my creations...

and my photos....

my favorite tea length dress
(taffeta, slit-pockets, AND a hot pink crenoline *happy feet*)....

as well as leaving Mother's Day gift hints to my children.
(I so want this skin for my laptop!)

To date I've already posted over 700 pins and I've only started a few weeks ago. I even have a board called "Think Pink" for future Pink Saturday posts.

If you are already a member, please do let me know. I'd love to view your board.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit and thanks taking the time to leave me your sweet thoughts!

Happy Pink Saturday (belated)! Be well!

Cheers!

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

With two more days left to go till the end of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, we are just so totally excited with what our fashion designers have to offer!

This year's Fashion Week is held at the Lincoln Center in New York. We wish we were there but sadly, our busy schedule does not permit us to go (sobs) Honestly, we don't even mind standing outside cheering the designers (and not to mention famous celebrities) on.

Either ways, we are keeping a close eye on the clothes (and not to mention the models) walking down the runway. Every picture we go through just keeps making our heart race faster and faster!

Take a look at you'll know what we mean!

Carlos Miele Spring 2012
One of our all time favourites througout fashion week! From the colour to the way the dress was properly constructed. Its just perfection!

Carolina Herrera Spring 2012
We absolutely love this classic look. The old classic is now the new look! Go vintage gals!

Carolina Herrera Spring 2012
The wasy the dress just 'floats' around her is just truly magnificent

DKNY Spring 2012
DKNY! LOVE the matching jacket and hat. It looks so pretty!

Monique Lhuillier Spring 2012
Another favourite! Love the way the dress exentuates her hour glass figure

Ohne Titel Spring 2012

Lela Rose Spring 2012
We love the way the bottom flares out. So pretty! *Hearts*

Lela Rose Spring 2012
This dress looks like it was tutu inspired. Nevertheless, the execution was perfect! One of our favs too!!

Cynthia Rowley Spring 2012
The mixture of different colours to the dress just makes it stand out even more

Jill Stuart Spring 2012

Nicole Miller Spring 2012
These firey-red dresses just captures the spot light. The red just adds a nice elegance, passion and Fire to the wearer.

Jason Wu Spring 2012
This model looks too damn thin and anorexic that we can't even look at the dress properly. They should have chosen their model carefully before hand.

Jason Wu Spring 2012
The top and skirt paring is just flawless!
